ME AND MY STORY OF GAMING
Hello,
I would like to introduce myself to the FREE FIRE gaming community. I know that I have a problem with gaming addiction. I stay up all night playing video games and usually spend most of my time at the computer browsing various websites that pertain to my favorite game.
My roommate has complained since he moved in that my talking in game disrupts his sleep due to the nature of my communications, and although I have made many agreements to stop using the microphone at night, I sometimes get so caught up in the moment of the game that I forget he is trying to sleep, and disturb him. I have been known to stay up all night, playing the game and munching at my computer desk between rounds,then finally going to bed when my body is about to collapse.
I had been ignoring my girlfriend for quite some time when my addiction was at its worst. I also struggled through high school and basically stopped caring about anything but the game during a critical time in my education.
I have been addicted to FREE FIRE for over a year. I have answered the Computer Game Addiction Signs and shared my answers with you in hopes of sharing my level of addiction so that I can have some support in becoming more functional in real life. I am enrolling in high school to study in science stream, and will need to give a great effort in studies . If I begin to slip up and play the game, I know that it will be my schoolwork that suffers first, and I don’t want to ruin my opportunity at doing something that I truly love.
